A modern Indian kitchen
Old spices,
a new table
Regional Indian cooking that follows the season — charred from the tandoor, slow-simmered in the pot, and set down without ceremony.
The kitchen
We grind our own masalas, every morning
Saffron is a modern Indian kitchen that leans on the places its cooks come from — Punjab, the Konkan coast, the tea hills of the south. The spices are whole and toasted to order; the paneer and chutneys are made in-house; the vegetables come from whoever picked well that week.
Nothing here is fusion for its own sake. It is Indian food cooked carefully, plated with restraint, and priced to be eaten often rather than once.
