Small-batch feather wands
A hand-balanced feather wand, weighted to move like startled prey. Ten thousand years of instinct deserve better than a shoelace.
Field test no. 2 — the pounce
Indoor cats never stop hunting — they just run out of things worth hunting. Plume's arc and drag are tuned to move like a small bird: dart, hover, dive. The stalk comes back. The tail-twitch comes back. The pounce, delivered at full commitment onto your rug, comes back.
Five minutes a day. That's the whole protocol.

The wand no. 1
Materials
Beech, brass, silk, feather. Four materials, each one replaceable, nothing molded, nothing that squeaks. When a plume finally loses the fight — and it will, that's the point — click a fresh one into the ferrule and the wand is new again.
The rose dye is fixed before assembly, so it stays on the feather and off the cat.
